Ranger Cheerleaders!
The most recent poll question asked you to vote on what you would most like to see in the GPSD fall season. Do you want linesmen to keep better track of offsides? Naw. How about a league newsletter or an FA Cup open tournament? Nope. Playing the final at PGE Park in front of an adoring crowd of maybe dozens? No. By a truly staggering margin--a landslide, if you will--you wanted...Rangers Cheerleaders.
This wasn't the first time "Rangers Cheerleaders" has won the poll. When asked what amenity you most wanted to see at the Montessori Earth School, you resoundingly said...Rangers Cheerleaders.
Your manager has heard your pleas. He wants to make recreational soccer a better experience for you. So I give you our first Ranger Cheerleader. I think her name is Marlina. I think her turn-ons include long walks on the beach and snuggling in front of the fire. Her turn-offs are probably mean people and pollution.
I suppose this would be a grossly inappropriate post to remind you that your children's entries for the Junior Ranger Logo Contest are due in two weeks, wouldn't it? Yes, I suppose so. (If this doesn't merit at least a half dozen comments, I do not know what would...)

"Marlina" is so much easier to remember than "The Hot Brunette Ranger Cheerleader (Formerly of the San Diego Chargers) My Awesome Manager Found on the Internet", don't you think? HBRC(FSDC)MAMFI just doesn't roll of the tongue very eloquently.
