FC77 Rangers is proud to announce that the squad as signed new player Robert Switzer, formerly of Wolfhounds FC. Switzer will be joining the Yellow and Black for the fall 2009 season as an attacking midfielder/forward. Currently playing with the unofficial indoor soccer team of Rangers, FC Black Cat IV, Switzer is looking forward to joining FC77's O-30 Third Division team as they make an aggressive run at the championship come September...although he did express some regret that he will no longer be able to kick the ball really hard into Bauman's junk.
Bob Switzer
And by "signing", I mean "I sent him an email and he said 'yes.'"
And by "unofficial indoor soccer team of Rangers", I mean "the team that five of us play on at Indoor Goals every Wednesday night with three or four former semi-pro English kids who do stuff with the soccer ball I have only seen in freestyling DVDs and make us all feel old and slow...but then we look on the scoreboard and see we have 17 goals and then we laugh and don't care about feeling old and slow anymore."
And by "express some regret that he will no longer be able to kick the ball really hard into Bauman's junk", I mean "Bob's biggest regret is that he will no longer be able to kick the ball really hard into Bauman's junk."
Welcome aboard, Bob! And by "welcome aboard", I genuinely mean "welcome aboard."
