"Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that." - Bill Shankly

Spring 2010 Preseason Schedule Announced

FC77 Rangers announced their Spring 2010 Preseason Schedule today. Like everything the squad does, it is awesome.

FC77 Rangers vs. Wolfhounds FC
Sunday, March 28th, 2010
3:00 P.M. kick-off
Montessori Earth School
You know the new soccer season is just around the corner when the Wolfhounds come out to play! Fresh from their winter loan spell, Bauman, Calkins, Snyder, Muralt, Vogel, Silverman and Seanny are all eager to show their former team their mad skillz!

FC77 Rangers vs. FC77 Newcastle
"Mark Vogel Testimonial Match"
Saturday, April 3rd, 2010
3:00 p.m. kick-off
Montessori Earth School
The Rangers bid farewell to our longest serving and most faithful utility player. After fifteen, maybe eighteen years with the team--not even he remembers anymore!--Marky Mark has opted to move to the O-40s squad. After playing literally every position in every formation the team has ever rolled out as well as serving as captain and manager, the Yellow and Black honor their favorite Canadian with a special scrimmage and (hopefully not too corny) presentation. Adult malted beverages may mysteriously show up and a performance by the Hot Ranger Cheerleader Dance Squad is scheduled.*
*--Actually, I just made that part up, but it would be awesome.

Not excited to see "The Greatest O-30 Recreational Football Club in the Greater Portland, Oregon Area" yet? Then you need to watch the Preseason Teaser Video in the previous post or you're a friggin' robot!

Great seats at the Montessori Earth School are always available!
