"Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that." - Bill Shankly

More Player Transfer News

Brian Gaffney's loan spell to Rangers has ended and he will be rejoining his old O-40 club, FC77 Newcastle, for the Fall Season. Gaffney was a real workhorse in the Rangers midfield during the spring season, always making himself involved in the play on offense and defense. His industry and playmaking (and maniacal laugh!) found him netting thrice for the Yellow and Black in the spring and he helped the team to develop the 3-1-4-2 formation (as the one) over the familiar 4-4-2.

Without a doubt, he will be missed.

And without a doubt, if Rangers looks to be short on players for a match in the fall, he will be the first player to be called.

Best of luck, Brian. We know Newcastle probably outdrinks us, but I ask you this...do they have their own downloadable poster? I think not.
