The GPSD has released the Fall 2009 O-30 Third Division Rose City schedule. It very well may have been put together by heathens, because eight of the ten matches are scheduled for 10:00 AM on Sunday mornings.
Of note is an epic away match--and by away match, I mean, like to be played away in Salem--on September 27th. Rangers first road trip is of special significance to Radigan and Ingersoll because we grew up in the Cherry City and we want to return as conquering heroes. And because my mom will likely come watch and I don't want to play like crap in front of her.
The season opener is September 13th against a former foe, Dawgs. The much-anticipated rematch against No Subs is October 18th. The always awesome 'Gers-Wolfhounds Derby is October 4th. The Yellow and Black close out the season November 15th with the second leg of the Salem Kickers at the Montessori School.
